Elmer's 19 Standby Engine

Elmer's Standby if a fairly conventional steam engine, with a fixed cylinder, normal (automotive type) crankshaft, and ports in the crankshaft type valving. The picture below is an example built by John Somers, author of "Start Model Engineering". If you are a beginning modeler, a trip to his publication is certainly in order.
