This engine is an adaptation of a radical new diesel engine featured in the December, 1977 issue of Popular Science magazine. It was an opposed piston, swing-beam engine being developed by the English firm of Armstrong Whitworth & Company, Ltd.

Evidently not a popular engine, as there don't seem to be any pictures of it on the internet. If you are building, or have built this engine, please send me some pictures so that I can feature them. Thanks.
